According to a report by KATV ABC 7 in Little Rock, members of the Razorbacks’ football team are being investigated for an incident that happened this past weekend that left one person hospitalized.

The university provided a written statement to the outlet that said both players and students attended an event and that the university police and the Office of Student Standards and Conduct are reviewing the incident. The university’s statement can be seen below.

The University of Arkansas Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has been made aware of an incident occurring this past weekend at an event. The event was attended by University of Arkansas students, including members of the football team. The incident is currently being reviewed by UAPD and the Office of Student Standards and Conduct. The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will have no further comment until the completion of the review.

A source told KATV that at least one Arkansas football player attacked a student at the Kappa Alpha fraternity house on campus before a larger fight broke out where as many as six students were injured, including one of them taken to the hospital.
