  • Running back Kody Walker suffered what appears to be a thumb injury and left the game. He accounted for 17 rushing yards while he was in the game.
  • Linebacker Josh Williams seems to have injured his leg and also left the game. He had 1 solo tackle and 7 total tackles on the afternoon.
  • Safety Josh Liddell left the game with an apparent knee injury. Liddell had 2 solo tackles and 6 total while he was in the game.
  • Offensive left tackle Denver Kirkland went down cradling his arm late in the fourth quarter.
  • Lastly, receiver Eric Hawkins suffered what looked like the most serious injury of the game on a 22-yard kickoff return late in the fourth quarter. An injury timeout was taken for him and he was carted off the field.
  • Coach Bret Bielema revealed that running back Alex Collins hadnโ€™t been to all practices which took place this past week due to an infection that caused an emergency room visit on Wednesday. Collins, of course, did play in todayโ€™s game, but his effectiveness was low.

During the post-game press conference, Bret Bielema stated that he did not have much information on the extent of his playersโ€™ injuries. The only comment he had was about Hawkins, that the receiver was able to move his extremities and was also complaining of a hurt stomach.
