Arkansas will host Texas State in 2016, according to a report from WholeHogSports who cites a release from Texas State.

The game will be played on September 17, 2016 in Fayetteville. The Bobcats are a member of the Sun Belt and are led by head coach Dennis Franchione. Franchione has previously been the head coach at a pair of SEC programs, including Texas A&M and Alabama.

Texas State won seven games in 2014. The Bobcats and Razorbacks have never met.

Bret Bielema now has three of Arkansas’ four non-conference matchups locked in for 2016. The Hogs are set to begin a home-and-home with TCU that year, in addition to hosting Louisiana Tech.
