Brandon Allen won't return vs. Ole Miss

Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen won’t return to the game against Ole Miss, head coach Bret Bielema confirmed to CBS’ Allie LaForce.

Bret Bielema says Brandon Allen has a “soft tissue” injury and won’t return today.

Allen took a knee to the lower back by Ole Miss defensive lineman Bryon Bennett midway through the second quarter.

Allen’s younger brother, true freshman Austin Allen, will play the remainder of the game for the Razorbacks.

It appears Austin Allen will be finishing this one up at quarterback for Arkansas.
