The Venue: AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Kick: 3:30 p.m. ET
TV: CBS
Series record: Arkansas leads the all-time series with a record of 41-26-3.

Last meeting: Texas A&M defeated Arkansas 45-33 in Fayetteville, Ark. behind a strong performance from quarterback Johnny Manizel. The former Heisman winner had 253 total yards in the first half and quickly got the Aggies out to 24-20 lead. Arkansas attempted a second-half comeback, but it was stopped short in the end thanks to an overpowering Texas A&M running game.

Coaches: Bret Bielema (74-34), Kevin Sumlin (59-23)

Last game (Arkansas): Arkansas’ defense and special teams gave the Hogs life early on against Northern Illinois with an opening kickoff return for a touchdown and a fumble return for a touchdown in the first quarter. Quarterback Brandon Allen led another productive outing for the Razorbacks’ offense. Arkansas defeated Northern Illinois 52-14.

Last game (Texas A&M): Against an incredibly overwhelmed SMU squad took a beating from the Texas A&M Aggies. Kenny Hill and the Aggies offense keyed a 58-6 win, including another multiple touchdown performance from the sophomore quarterback. Texas A&M’s defense also recorded eight sacks.

Arkansas wins if: They control time of possession. Arkansas’ secondary will have a tough time containing Kenny Hill and the explosive Aggies offense, so if the Hogs’ offense can control the ball similar to how they dismantled Texas Tech, it’s quite possible Arkansas could pull off the upset.

Texas A&M wins if: They can stop Arkansas’ running game. The offense should be able to score points against the Razorbacks, so if Texas A&M’s defense is able to limit the damage done by Arkansas’ strongest position group – the running backs – the Hogs probably won’t be able to keep up on the scoreboard.

What it means if Arkansas wins: The Hogs are much, much better than originally thought. After the Aggies’ season-opening win against South Carolina, Texas A&M has been considered one of the best teams in the SEC. A statement win like this one would put Arkansas on the map as one of the most surprising contenders in the SEC this season.

What it means if Texas A&M wins: The Aggies come into this game as the favorite, so a Texas A&M win wouldn’t be shocking. Depending on how Texas A&M stops the run, it’ll be more of a statement game for the Aggies’ defense rather than the offense.
