No. 1 in-state player commits to Arkansas
Overshadowed during the SEC’s opening weekend, Arkansas landed the state’s top player.
Hope, Arkansas, native McTelvin Agim committed to the Hogs Saturday. Agim is the No. 3 overall defensive end for the 2016 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
In front of friends and family, he held a press conference in Texarkana, Texas.

Agim committed to Arkansas over Baylor, Texas A&M and Ole Miss, and he racked up 149 tackles, 62 tackles for loss and 38 sacks in two high school seasons.
The 6-foot-3, 278-pound prospect became the Hogs’ 14th commit in the 2016 recruiting class.
