Arkansas RB duo of Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams may be done after 2015
Arkansas coach Bret Bielema gave strong indications that this season could serve to be the last for the school’s dynamic running back tandem of Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams.
Collins is only a junior, but he’s rushed for 1,000 yards as a freshman, sophomore and junior with the Razorbacks, becoming just the third SEC running back to ever accomplish the feat along with Georgia’s Herschel Walker and Arkansas’ own Darren McFadden. That won’t look too shabby on his NFL résumé.
Meanwhile, Williams is a senior who could seek another year of eligibility after missing this entire season following foot surgery. Williams ran for 900 yards as a sophomore before running for 1,190 yards last season. However, he was sidelined with a foot injury that he suffered in a scrimmage back in August.
In the postgame press conference following Arkansas’ 28-3 win over Missouri, Bielema had this to say in regards to Collins:
Bielema: I think Alex Collins really felt the vibe that this could have been his last game. Lot to talk about in the future.

"Gathered him around pre-game and 'told him if the weather pans out, we're going to ride you, my friend.'"

Meanwhile, Williams tweeted this out from his own account:
Wish I could've got done what I planned on this season but I'm thankful that I was a part of it all pic.twitter.com/A8fMBRpv07

Bielema had this to say about Williams, according to Eric Bolin of the Arkansas News Bureau.
On J-Will: "I think he's at a point now he's pretty peaceful at what he's going to do. Unless there's a surprise, he's played his last game"

At 7-5, Arkansas is eligible to play in a bowl game for a second straight season.
