Arkansas not only enjoyed a successful day on Saturday, but the football program shined again a day later with several notable performance in the NFL’s Week 3 games.

Here are some of the more notable performance from former Hogs.

  • Knile Davis – 32 carries, 132 rushing yards and one touchdown. The Kansas City Chiefs running back took over the starting running back position with Jamaal Charles still out with an injury. And Davis didn’t disappoint. He rushed for 132 rushing yards on 32 carries and scored a touchdown and played a huge role in the Chiefs’ 34-15 blowout win against the Miami Dolphins on the road. As long as Charles is out, it appears Davis is more than capable of filling his shoes.
  • Darren McFadden – 18 carries, 59 rushing yards, four receptions and six receiving yards. The former Heisman finalist was able to get a little more production on the ground this week, despite a rather inept offensive performance by the Oakland Raiders. McFadden’s team was only able to put up nine points on three field goals against the New England Patriots.

Other Hogs in the NFL:

  • Ryan Mallett – backup quarterback for the Houston Texans
  • Jason Peters – ejected from Eagles – Redskins game for retaliating against Washington for a late hit on Nick Foles
  • Chris Gragg – was inactive for the Chargers road matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
