Auburn out of contention in latest CFP Top 25

The fourth College Football Playoff rankings were released on Tuesday night.

Auburn slid five spots to No. 14, and now are squarely out of the picture of the New Year’s Day six bowls.

The Tigers, Gus Malzahn admitted, carried the home loss to Texas A&M to Georgia last week and was blasted by the No. 10 Bulldogs.

Auburn is eliminated from the College Football Playoff with its third loss coming at the hands of Georgia on Saturday night.
