Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson wasn’t lacking in confidence after leading the Tigers to a 55-0 victory over Alabama A&M on Senior Night.

After the game, Johnson answered several questions about his NFL future. He told the Ledger-Enquirer that he knows he’ll get a chance to play on Sundays:

“I’m looking forward to the future, my next chapter in my life and getting prepared for the next level because I’m going to get my chance,” Johnson said.

Following next week’s Iron Bowl matchup against No. 1 Alabama, Johnson said he’ll begin working toward his NFL dream:

“Start training, getting ready for pro day and hopefully get an invite to the combine,” Johnson said about his plans after graduating in December. “Like I said, I’m going to get a chance. It’s no secret I’m going to get a chance at the next level.”

Johnson threw for 147 yards and a touchdown and added 42 yards and two scores on the ground in Saturday’s victory.
