The Auburn Tigers lost in this year’s Final Four in heartbreaking fashion, with a last-second foul on Samir Doughty leading to three Kyle Guy free throws that sunk the Tigers.

The Tigers are trying to move on, but it’s clear Danjel Purifoy is still upset about the refereeing at the end of the game.

Per 247Sports, Purifoy recently appeared on a fan’s Twitch channel and ripped the officiating, saying he still feels Auburn was cheated:

[O]n a recent appearance on Auburn fan Jim Strickland’s Twitch channel, Auburn wing man Danjel Purifoy let his voice be heard.

“Oh, yeah, I don’t give a f***. My bad,” he said, apologizing for cursing on the family-friendly Twitch channel as he played a match of Fortnite with JiMnM. “I don’t care what they say, if they tell us not to talk about it, I don’t care, they cheated us.”

That’s definitely a tough way to lose, but Bruce Pearl will need to help his squad move forward before the start of the 2019-20 season.

With Jared Harper, Chuma Okeke and Bryce Brown heading off to the NBA, the Tigers need to reload and refocus ahead of the first game this fall.
