Former Auburn Heisman- and National Championship-winning quarterback Cam Newton was spotted at Auburn’s spring practice on Tuesday, according to a practice report from AL.com.

Newton was seen coming onto the field from the weight room and chatting with head coach Gus Malzahn.

AL.com also reported wideout Tony Stevens was seen standing at the entrance to the Tigers’ locker room donning a brace and positioned on a knee scooter. Stevens recorded just one reception a season ago but was expected to contend for a larger role in the offense this season.

No specifics have been provided regarding his potential injury.
