Former Auburn standout Kevin Greene has lived the dream of many aspiring SEC football players.

He walked on at Auburn and overcame the odds to win the 1984 SEC defensive player player of the year.

Greene was drafted in the fifth round of the 1985 NFL Draft, and turned that opportunity into a storied career that included five trips to the Pro Bowl, three All-Pro selections and a staggering 160 career sacks.

Heck, he even got a shot as a professional wrestler:

All of that hard work was finally recognized by the voters for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, who selected Greene as a member of the six person class of 2016 on Saturday evening.
