Auburn played nearly a flawless half of basketball against Kansas.

The Tigers lead the Jayhawks by 26 points (51-25) at halftime, and Bryce Brown is the biggest reason why. The senior torched Kansas with 17 points, including 5-of-6 from three-point range. Brown jumped to No. 2 all-time in the SEC record book with three pointers made behind only Tennessee’s Chris Lofton.

Below is Brown’s fifth three-pointer of the game:

Jared Harper has also added 14 points, including 5-of-6 from three-point range. He finished with a nice little teardrop before halftime.

When Auburn is playing this kind of game, it can beat any team in the nation. However, there’s still a half of basketball left, and Kansas is plenty talented enough to make a run to make things more than interesting.

Kansas’ Dedric Lawson has just six points, and Auburn has committed just two turnovers.

Auburn has owned Kansas on fast breaks, and to see a Bill Self-coached team this unprepared for Auburn is quite surprising, especially in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
