The Auburn Tigers will be without wide receiver Myron Burton Jr. in 2015, according to AL.com.

The wide receiver has left the team after being the Tigers’ A-Day offensive MVP. The redshirt freshman posted seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown during the spring game.

Burton Jr. was expected to make an impact this season, and he looked okay during fall camp, even hauling in a 43-yard touchdown reception from Jeremy Johnson while working with the starters during a scrimmage.

No details were provided as to why Burton Jr. made the decision to leave the team.
