The Auburn Tigers lost WR Eli Stove to an ACL injury earlier this spring, and he may miss the entire 2018 season, though that’s not been confirmed yet.

On Saturday, it was reported that another Auburn receiver, Will Hastings, had suffered a knee injury, too.

According to AL.com, a source has confirmed that Hastings suffered the injury during Saturday’s scrimmage, but the extent of it is not known at this point:

Senior wide receiver Will Hastings, Auburn’s starting “3” slot receiver, injured his knee during Auburn’s first spring scrimmage at Jordan-Hare Stadium, a source confirmed. The extent of the injury it not yet known and Hastings will undergo further evaluation.

The Tigers had depth at the position entering the spring, with Hastings and Stove joined by Ryan Davis, Darius Slayton and Nate Craig-Myers.

Now, though, that depth is being tested, and we’ll have to wait and see if either player will be in action this fall.
