Anthony Schwartz is one of the fastest players in the SEC, but the Auburn wide receiver has reached out to one of the best playmakers in the NFL for a challenge.

A native of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Schwartz in high school was named Broward County track and field athlete of the year as a junior and an all-USA sprinter. He set a world youth record with a 10.15 second 100 meters in the 2017 Florida Relays, and was named the 2018 Gatorade national boys’ track and field athlete of the year.

He won the Florida state Class 2A 100 meters (10.07) and 200 meters (20.41) in record times. At the IAAF U20 world championships in Finland in July, he won the silver medal in the 100 and gold medal in the 400 relay.

Schwartz recently tweeted to Kansas City Chiefs star Tyreek Hill, a high school track star in his own right, who welcomed the possibility.

In 2012, Hill had a double of 10.19 in the 100 and 20.14 in the 200 meters at the Golden South Classic.

If this race becomes a reality, it will be very entertaining.

Sunday Night Football on NBC last year did a simulation of Hill participating in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
