Auburn junior linebacker Cameron Toney visited the Auburn Police Department to show his support for the campus officers hours after three police officers were shot and killed Sunday in Baton Rouge, La.

Toney shared a post with two officers on his Facebook and a caption thanking them for their service.

Student athletes have been increasingly vocal about the relationship between law enforcement and the community following several tragic incidents over the past few weeks.

The junior recorded three tackles in one game last season. You can read more about Toney’s meeting with the Auburn Police at Gridiron Now here.
