Seven Items Of Discussion Regarding UGA’s SECCG Loss

UGA showed it is capable of playing with anyone in the country. The UGA Defense held LSU to 12 yards of Offense and ZERO first downs in the 1st half. The main point is that UGA does have the players and system in place to compete on the highest level.

Georgia Notes For SECCG

Dec 1st, 2011 | By Chris Stasiak (Georgia Writer)

UGA has decided not to wear the Nike Pro Combat uniforms it wore in the Georgia Dome season opening loss to Boise State. Head Coach Mark Richt had told the team back in August if they returned to the Dome for the SECCG, they could wear the unis again. From the reaction I’ve seen on

A Few Notes On Georgia Facing Off Against LSU

Much has been made of Georgia’s “easy” schedule. The fact is that SEC East runner-up South Carolina and UGA’s SEC schedule only differ by one team. UGA drew Miss State and USCe drew Arkansas, that’s it, one team is all that separates a trip to the Dome Dec 3rd and watching at home in Columbia.

Welcome To 2011: Richt Puts Elite Athletes On Special Teams

It appears that coach Mark Richt has had enough mediocrity on special teams for the Georgia Bulldogs and has joined the rest of the modern football world in putting the best athletes on the field for special teams.

Georgia: Troubling Signs Despite Important Win Against Florida

Even though the Bulldogs won again, it always seems this team raises more questions than it answers week-to-week. The Dawgs latest win continues their conference win streak but it comes versus SEC teams with a combined record of 4-22. Such a streak is quite a relief after starting down 0-2, but it’s not exactly a proving ground to showcase how good this team might be.

Georgia Needs Win Against Florida

The game this year is still relevant even after Georgia lost its SEC opener to South Carolina and Florida reeling from 3 straight SEC loses. A Georgia win could propel them to the Championship game in Atlanta Dec 3rd assuming they win out and Carolina loses to Tennessee, Arkansas or the Gators along the way.

Mark Richt’s Record vs. SEC East Teams

Heading into the bye week for UGA, all eyes will be on Jacksonville for the Annual Cocktail Party. The winner will stay alive in the SEC East race while the loser is playing for 2nd place (or worse). Richt’s Win/Loss in the SEC East plus Auburn and Georgia Tech shows he has a winning record vs. all the other teams but one. Which team that is should be obvious for any Georgia fan.

6 Issues I Have With Georgia After Beating Vandy

Isaiah Crowell, Blair Walsh, Mike Bobo… despite the win at Vanderbilt, there are serious issues to address if the Bulldogs are to finish strong and win the SEC East.

Georgia Objectives At Vanderbilt

Georgia Objectives At Vanderbilt

The Bulldogs (4-2, 3-1 SEC) come into Nashville riding a four-game winning streak. They are currently tied with South Carolina atop the wild and crazy SEC East standings. Vandy (3-2, 1-2 SEC) is dealing with QB issues – with Jordan Rodgers the likely starter if Larry Smith can’t go because of an ankle injury.

Cautiously Optimistic On The Georgia Bulldogs

Cautiously Optimistic On The Georgia Bulldogs

I want to drink the Kool-Aid…I do…I just can’t get past the up and down nature of this year’s Bulldogs. Georgia got another SEC win as they were supposed to and any win on the road in the SEC is impressive.
