This was the third consecutive game that Arkansas played poorly on both sides of the ball in the first half and then lit up the scoreboard in the second half. They have yet to play an entire sixty minutes of football.

When Houston Dale Nutt was hired by the University of Arkansas in December of 1997, the Hogs were coming off back-to-back losing seasons, and fan support was very low. Nutt’s hiring was as if a cloud had been lifted from the state, and hope sprang eternal, with Coach Nutt talking of a national championship under construction.

It took Arkansas one quarter of play this past Saturday night to really get things rolling, but once they did, there was nothing Auburn could do to stop them. The Hogs won most of the statistics battle and won on the scoreboard as well.
