Janoris Jenkins was one of the cornerstones of the heralded 2008 recruiting haul by Urban Meyer for the Florida Gators. Upon arriving in Gainesville, he contributed immediately by becoming the 2nd true freshman in school history to start at cornerback on opening day and accumulating 3 interceptions during the Championship 2008 season.

Yesterday, following an almost two-year investigation into the South Carolina program regarding allegations of student-athletes receiving impermissible benefits, the NCAA hit the program with failure to monitor.

Perhaps one of the top surprises of the draft last night was when the Dallas Cowboys traded up from No. 14 to snag the talented Morris Claiborne from LSU with the sixth pick in the NFL Draft.
