Georgia DB Arrested For Domestic Violence

Georgia defensive back Sanders Commings was arrested early Saturday morning on a domestic violence charge. Jimmy Williamson, UGA police chief, said Commings and his girlfriend were in an alteration around 1 AM. Witnesses flagged down police officers shortly after the altercation took place.

Auburn’s Gus Malzahn Taking Arkansas State Head Coaching Position

Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn is reportedly taking the Arkansas State head coaching vacancy. This will be the second coordinator Gene Chizik has lost in a matter of weeks, after defensive coordinator Ted Roof went to UCF. Malzahn was rumored to be a hot commodity this season, and he turned down the Vanderbilt job last year. This is certainly interesting; however, he will now be a college head coach.
