J. E. Platt
J. E. Platt coached the Texas A&M football team for three seasons from 1902-1904, posting three straight winning seasons and back-to-back seven-win campaigns in 1902 and 1903. Platt’s teams finished 7-0-2 in 1902, 7-3-1 in 1903 and just 4-2 in 1904, his last season as a college coach. All in all his teams won or tied 21 of the 26 games he coached at A&M.
