R.G. Acton

R.G. Acton coached Vanderbilt from 1896 to 1898, compiling a 10-7-3 record and winning the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association in 1897.

Acton, born in Kinselle, Ireland, died of a morphine overdose in 1900. He was 35 years old.
