Willie Martinez

Associate Head Coach Defense, Defensive Backs, Tennessee Volunteers

Willie Martinez helps call Tennessee’s defensive coverage packages.

Martinez’s coaching career began in 1985 and outside of two years at Oklahoma during the 2010 and 2011 seasons, he’s spent the last 12 in the SEC at three different stops coming into the 2014 campaign at Tennessee. Since 1990, the secondary’s been his specialty, although he did serve as defensive coordinator at Georgia from 2005-09.
