"Georgia’s win against Georgia in overtime" Do you guys even reread your articles??
I think you just won the internet for today hahahaha
There's probably one out there but I agree with Odom as the choice. Smart is unproven and honestly I would rather have Pruitt as our DC than Smart as our HC. Great pickup by y'all. Good luck against State
Here's to four years of some badass rivalry games in Jacksonville.
"For the record, the Coca-Cola bottle said nothing." Don't you wish it had though?
Not who I would vote for but I'll support him any ways. Lets see if this becomes true
Just a couple of points: 1. What's happening with Pruitt? If they want to keep him (they're really stupid if they let him walk) then don't go after Smart. 2. Keeping Pruitt and teaming him under either Mullen or German would benefit both parties. Georgia keeps an excellent coordinator and gains an offensive minded coach. Pruitt maybe learns under said coach before taking his next step up as a head coach someday. 3. I don't want Chip Kelly's name anywhere near the job. We can't go from a very classy coach to a classless one.
David Pollack can go jump off a cliff. If Dan Mullen believes this senior class he has is the best he'll ever get than he's probably interested in the job. I'm just really hoping we keep Pruitt. Defense and Nick Chubb is the only reason we won games the last two years
I'm by no means an Iowa fan, but to run the table in any of the Power 5 conferences is impressive. If they win the Big 10 title game, they deserve to be in.
I agree with Bing. He is 100% right but shouldn't have done it on social media. Arkansas has an underrated D so I give them a little bit of the credit. Now speaking as a Georgia fan, I'm afraid of Drew Lock. That kid has potential. Don't worry Missouri, you'll be okay in the long run
I'll just be the first one to say it, Alabama could be "rebuilding" next year. As much as a Nick Saban team can rebuild. Losing one, if not both, coordinators would be pretty hard pill to swallow. This off-season could be very interesting
Personally I would love to see Justin Fuente paired with Pruitt. Our defense is the only thing somewhat respectful that is on the field, and with all the fresh faces. Plus Fuente will be able to groom Eason like he did Paxton Lynch.
You're right Brad. I should have said a lot of SDS not the whole community.
"The Vols weren’t expected to win this game before the season.." Really? SDS had their head so far up Tennessee's butt this preseason, how can you say that?
This is rediculous. These kids are getting a free education because they help promote the brand that is their university. So on top of that you want to pay them hundreds of thousands of dollars?? For throwing a football? Just think about how stupid that is. And some of you are arguing that they risk their bodies so they should be paid more. You're morons and these kids are spoiled.
Who ever called for Mason over Murray???
Killin' it agian Murf. I have the utmost respect for Alabama. I think this could be you're guys best team since 2011, and Derrick Henry could be better than Ingram or Lacy (that's scary to think about). This power running game is just going to help Coker get comfortable and make plays. Personally I'd trade you guys OCs, that's how much I respect Kiffin as a coordinator. Now saying all that, I do hope ya'll do lose to Georgia later this season, but sweet baby Jesus that's going to be a great game. Good luck Tide, see ya'll October 3rd.
NCAA Football 16: The Movie....oh wait....nevermind
Awesome article again Murf! I do like the comparison to Amari Cooper, or well I'm humbled by it. If Georgia can get half of an impact that Cooper had last year out of Mitchell it will be awesome! Is it game time yet?
These are all priceless hahaha. The Dirty Dancing and Titanic ones were the best!
Thanks for catching that mistake. You're right it would be 7 division games not right. Can't play yourself lol.
This is a far fetch idea so just roll with me, So there's 128 FBS football teams. Break that down into 8 conferences (sorry MAC and Sun Belt lol) that's 16 teams per conference. 8 teams per division. So the scheduling would be 8 division games, two cross conference games so the likes of Georgia and Auburn don't die, one out of conference game, and 2 bye weeks. Next is the conference championships. Then to the playoffs. Since there are 8 conference champs, that's half the selections for a 16 team playoff. Leaving room for the commitee to choose and the excitement of finding out whose is in. The 16 team tournament adds a max 4 games to a teams schedule making a season max total of 16 games and the season 20 weeks with a bye before the playoffs begin and the the championship. Hypothetically if the season started the last saturday of August (the 29th) for the 2015 season, the championship game would be on January 9th. 15 of 41 bowl games would be used, leaving 26 bowls or 52 teams to play outside the new playoff system. Which means only 68 teams would make the post season compared to the current 82.
Just throwing this out there, but since Nick Saban is getting older and say in like 3 years he wants to retire. And say Lane Kiffin is still there for some reason. Wouldn't Kiffin be in the running for the Alabama head coaching job? Stretching a little bit but just a thought.
That was the whip not the nae nae lol. But good try SDS
My bold predictions based off the writer's: 1. Tim Tebow is hired as the new Georgia qb-coach, because if Chubb gets that mean carries, our quarterbacks need a lot of help. 2. Tennessee's amazing defense only has one game it gives up 300 total yards, and its to Vandy. 3. Pharoh comes in third, Alabama's O.J. Howard comes in first 4. Pharoh Cooper comes in 2nd for passing yards in the SEC East 5. The first ever 6 way tie for the SEC East accures. Vandy represents the East in the SEC championship game 6. Austin Peay upsets Vandy the week after Georgia due to the hangovers from all the partying 7. Kentucky and Vandy are the only ones to win bowls this season for the SEC 8. Jim McElwain is fired after one season 9. Tennessee wins the East but due to a loophole does not represent the division in the conference championship (hence Vandy getting in as said above) 10. Tennessee doesn't get in the playoff and Alabama doesn't win a single game
I think the only reason you don't see a Jonathan Williams or a Roc Thomas more in the tops three's is because of scheme success. Arkansas had argueably one of the top offensive lines last year and Auburn's up-tempo running causes a lot of running backs to shine. Honestly any conference that is facing an SEC school this year should fear the opposing running back. This is THE Running Back conference and for good reason
The fact that SEC fans are hating on each other because some ACC Tech fan is running his mouth, is not cool. Jim count the rings sweetheart before you come trolling on an SEC website. SEC beats ACC in every category. Go Dawgs and good luck to everyone next year
