Reminds me of people claiming Jeremy Johnson is a Heisman contender. Please stop hyping our QB's. It's possible Stidham will lose the battle to White or Barrett for the spot anyway, and yet he's somehow second on the list. In my opinion, you have to put Fitzgerald there.
Pettway at 5? Seriously? The guy didn't play for a significant portion of the season and still easily beat 1000 yards.
I'd say it was more Malzahn/Cam than Chizik/Cam.
You're not flared up but based on that vitriol, you're clearly a bammer. I haven't heard Stidham being associated with any Heisman. There you go, making up things. Stidham was a 5 star dual-threat QB coming out of HS. Right when people predict Auburn goes 6-6 is when they pull off 2010 or 2013. So, thanks, really. Here's to hoping we're unranked at the beginning of the season.
Fitzgerald has been improving throughout the year. I think Bama will win because their defense is poor, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3 touchdown performance by the new kid.
Auburn's offense has improved a lot since that game too. I think a lot of people would like to see that rematch!
Such a shame, especially knowing his story. Hopefully, he can find a job in football somewhere. It's too bad he can't come back and carry the rock. We could have definitely used him after Robinson's exit, and he could have finished his degree on scholarship.
All I'm saying is that keyboard warriors like you have no idea how this season will shake out. I bet you were spouting this nonsense in 2013 too. Last season's high expectations were predicated on JJ's first half against Arkansas in 2014. That's why preseason predictions are ridiculous with Auburn. We're a dual quarterback based offense. If we find a guy that can do the zone read well enough, Alabama and everyone else are going to be in for a tough game.
I love how so many fans think they alone can use a crystal ball to see into the future. Remember 2010? Auburn was predicted to go 6-6. Remember 2013? 6.5 wins predicted per CBS.
When was the last time they even won the SEC Championship?
So much poison is in this rivalry, and both sides are guilty.
Not Carlton! These are players that see the field often... Even if they are suspended just for the opener, we need everyone we can get against Clemson. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Well, he's not wrong. You don't want a receiver to run complex routes if you don't have a quarterback to make those throws.
This is an article about a triple homicide, one in which a local boy's friend is dead, and you're being the grammar police. Stop. Just stop.
He didn't really, but I think he had a reasonable chance of losing the starting spot to Jovon Robinson next season. Leaving now on a relative high note is better for him.
Out of curiosity, when's the last time Georgia won the National Championship? Let's make it a little easier. When's the last time Georgia even won the SEC? Keep on with that little man complex. I'm sure you'll win a trophy one day.
... Really? Sounds to me like greeny knows jealousy. Bo's story is amazing, and if I was him, I'd be telling young athletes my story too. That kid just talked to one of the most complete athletes - ever. Bo was trying to inspire him. Maybe the kid believes in greatness now that he was talked with someone who has achieved it.
Does a 73 yard TD pass to Ricardo Louis in the last minute of the 4th quarter ring any bells? Man, we are going to enjoy watching Slayton embarrass that Georgia secondary in the coming years. Georgia fans = always salty, always rude, mud-flinging, piddling underachievers
I know this may be hard to believe, but normal people move on from football when the season finishes and go about their lives. In this context, I do not include Bama fans with normal people.
I think he'll go with the program most likely to be in the top 10/top 4 in the coming years. SC's been good these past couple years, but the upside of going to Auburn is undeniable. The DC of a national championship team > a DC of the SEC East champions.
They probably just grabbed the first loud-mouths that they saw. Some of 'em weren't bad.

PAC12, SEC, BIG Ten, ACC, Big 12 are the 5 big conferences, which is one too many for a four team play-ff. And, even if we did that, we'd automatically rule out any undefeated teams from the other conferences. Idk, it could maybe work using a bigger play-off bracket with wild card spots predicated on AP/Coaches/BCS ranking (sort of like the NFL, but they use simple best W-L records)
Alfred Blue is making waves at the Texans. Jeremy Hill is starting for the Browns. Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the best rising stars. I don't love LSU, but c'mon now, they deserve some credit here.
We didn't accept it at all; the problem was identified, and now he's taking steps to fix it. The offense was great this year outside of the Georgia game. Gus would never fail like Chizik did.
Comparing Malzahn to Chizik is like comparing Stephen Hawking to a gas station attendant. This has been a good season. It definitely wasn't great, but the only beatdown we received was against Georgia. We blew out LSU and Arkansas, beat a then-top 4 Ole Miss, and if CAP would have held onto the ball, we'd have beaten A&M. That's not the record of a man in the hot seat. Stop acting like we're in some sort of crisis mode. We're not Bammers making a clamor to fire the ole ball coach after a tough loss.
Considering your username, it's a safe bet that you're one of those "Jim" types.
