DawgAddict

I'm a UGA graduate and I bleed red, white and black. Nothing better than being in Athens on a Football Saturday in between the hedges. I'm only 30, so I haven't had the pleasure of seeing my Dawgs win it all yet, but I have a feeling that National Championship isn't too far away. But even if I never see that day I'll still consider myself lucky for being a Dawg. GOOOO DAWGS, SIC EM!!

well damn, this week ended the worse way possible. Mizzou won, and Tech beat us. I hate it for Chubb and my Dawgs, but you cant fumble multiple times on the goal line and expect a win. We almost pulled it out but that damn squib kick decision was pretty bad. But regardless I'm a Dawg until I die and look forward to our Bowl game, then ready for next season. This is going to be a long wait for College Football to come back and I'm not looking forward to it.
It looked like he led with his shoulder and accidentally made helmet to helmet contact. I didn't see any intent to harm the receiver, just trying to make a tackle.
I definitely think he has done enough to be in the discussion. Right now I don't think he would win, but if he does his magic against GT, and if Mizzou loses to Arkansas and we go to the SEC Championship and beat Bama/Miss St then he might have a shot at it. But will have to wait until Rivalry week is over before we know.
That's tough. Definitely was offsides. Officiating this year has been horrendous. I don't know what the solution to the problem is, but something has to give. Too many games are being influenced by terrible officials.
I can understand why...we lost a game we shouldn't have that ruined our shot again this year at a NC and at the same time, dropped us to number 2 in the east so unless we win out and Mizzou drops a game, we also lost our spot in the SEC Championship. That would be tough blow to anyone if that happened to their favorite team. Doubtful anyone would want to talk about it. But I read the sign as being a friendly office thing for his co workers, not something to take seriously. I see pictures of sporting events around, so seems like sports are important at that office so to me it looks like he is trying to save face. He probably boasted all week how The Dawgs would win, just to watch them get spanked. It's a pre-emptive "Yeah, I know, we lost, I look like an ass, so please keep the assaults down, I'm still raw"
Have to say that I was really off on this game. I predicted 31-24 with my Dawgs winning. The interceptions were the killer for Missouri. I was hoping Hutson Mason would have a good outing since Gurley was out, and he did. I knew Chubb would keep our running game solid so I figured our offense would be basically the same, but the difference maker for me was our defense. Just glad to get out of Missouri with the win and back in control of our own destiny in the east.
Keep hearing more and more. Started at $400 for 80 autographs now im hearing over $2000. Im going to wait until we get something verified. Regardless, I think the rule needs to change regarding players making money from their signature and likeness. The University and NCAA are making millions off of players like Gurley, but when the young man sacrificing his health and well-being to make his school/state/fans proud and relevant it then becomes a moral issue? Keep the ban on University officials and representatives to keep the richest school from using their money to get the best players every year, but if a fan finds value in a players memorabilia or signature then who is it hurting to let them sell it. These players aren't really able to work based on their school/team commitments and the allowance they get is a joke.
Gurley for Heisman! On his back alone Georgia is still in the mix for an SEC East title, lord knows our passing game isn't helping when you consider Gurley has the longest pass of the season. The kid can do it all. Run you over with his running game, makes huge plays as a receiver, and now he can catch you sleeping and pull off some nice trickery. I'm biased because I'm a Georgia boy, but even if you're not from the peach state, you have to admit Gurley is a beast and his body of work is deserving. I realize the Heisman is moving toward the best player of the year, which I have no problem with, but if it was like it use to be and usually decided by a full college career I think Gurley stands above the rest.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite games we play. This could be the deciding factor for the SEC East. Missouri's passing game vs our running game. Going to be an interesting matchup. Not liking that my Dawgs have to go to Missouri, but in my mind, you're not a great team until you walk into a hostile environment and come out of it with a win. Hoping we can dish out a little payback for last year. Regardless, this will be a tough fight on both sides. I'll feel good if Mason can step up and have a great passing day through the air, but I'm expecting more of the same with running first and passing second. But good luck Tigers, should be a good one. Go Dawgs, sic um!!!
Looks like my Dawgs are set for years to come.
I will be looking forward to seeing what Mason can do. He played ok but Gurley is the reason we won. If Mason can get going and if Gurley stays healthy all year, the Dawgs will be a hard team to beat.
As much as I love my Dawgs, it's only been one game. How about waiting until half the season is over before you start making predictions
After watching Gurley show out against Clemson last night they better keep the field just like it was, can't change a thing as to not upset the superstitious gods
