Wow! I like that guy. He didn't do what normal coaches would, he let Kirk know exactly what he thought.FCS teams need that money, and I hope they continue to get a chance to complete.
Yeah, because we all know bammer's are full of good decency and taste.
You're so funny dude. One play for 11 yards in the 3rd quarter with 12 men on the field cost Ole miss the game. Auburn had 500 + yards.
They'll say anything at this point to make themselves feel better.
You know the picture of 12 men on the field for Auburn was in the 3rd quarter right? So show your pic of 12 men on the field for the game winning touchdown.
Also, I want to add that it was a bad decision to use that picture, we're human sometime we make mistakes.
Ole Miss lost on the field, and on the score board. There's no way around it. As much as it hurts to lose like that making up lies show that you're thinking emotionally instead of logically. There proof of one instance where Auburn had 12 players on the field. That was in the 3rd quarter on a 11 yard play. Auburn put up over 500 yards on that land shark defense, 11 yards didn't make a difference. Auburn had 150 yards in penalties, Ole Miss barely was called for blocks in the back, holding, etc. That one missed call of 12 men on the field makes up for all the calls the ref refuse to call on the rebels. Deserved to win? There's no such thing as deserved to win. You either win or lose, that's it. It doesn't matter what you or anyone else says Ole Miss lost. Prayers to Treadwell, and I hope ole miss continues their success the rest of the year.
Whoever wrote this article is an idiot. Miss State and bammer play, one of those team will lose and drop in the rankings, so have can both be in the top 4? This projection has Miss St in the top spot, which would mean they beat bammer. No one in their right mind should believe a 2 loss SEC team will get in. Folks on the committee are looking for any reason not to include more than one SEC team. There is no guarantee a 2nd one loss SEC team will get in.
Bob was pointing out other teams have certain celebrations that they're allowed to do, so why shouldn't Ole be allowed to do their land shark. I completely agree, it's nonsense to penalized a team for celebrating, unless they're taunting the other team or sideline. If you make a big play why not celebrate? It's even better when you have signature celebration. Football is a game of emotions, they want a bunch of robots out there playing. Let the kids have fun, as long as they abide by the rules.
The playcalling was horrible, reminded me of the 2nd half of the Natty Championship where we played not to lose, instead of playing to win. We get too conservative with the lead, or in situations where we need to be aggressive. You would have thought the would have learned in the GA game that they were playing with fire. We have the tallest person on offense throwing a passing instead of being thrown at. We have the fastest RB in the nation riding the bench. We have another RB in Roc Thomas that looks 100% better than CAP also riding the bench. Our offense doesn't adjust very well, we do the same thing over and over, but expect different results. We got cute against Miss state in the redzone and it cost us the game.( 3 possessions came away with 6 points) Last year was a product of having the best o-line in the country, and no one could stop the run, so we ran the same 5-6 plays per game. This year Gus actually has to coach, and we'll see how good he really is. Down 8 in the third quarter against Miss State we has the ball 2 possessions, we threw 6 straight passes(why not run the ball?). In the fourth down 18 we were running the ball and kicking FGs. In the 2 road games(K-State Miss State) our team has looked totally unprepared. We'll see what happens the rest of the season, but this article is 100% accurate. This season's success or failure depends on if the right calls are being made. I expect us to win at home this Sat, but if Nov 1st we look anything like we've looked in our first two road games, it falls squarely on the coach. I have faith in Gus and I love my team win, or lose. This is just my honest OPINION.
Good. Give them an taste of their own medicine. Wait. That would mean kicking one of their players, like Dillon Day did Angelo Blackson last year. I'll be watching that guy very close, he's one of the dirtiest players in the country. Our defensive player already said he'll take it as far as Day will, so he better not try that Sat. WDE!
The defense had the horrible breakdowns(Drake's TD, Cooper's TD, 3rd and forever screen), but after they settled down, the offense has to make some plays. The D was on the field far too long, and in the second half they were gassed. You can't have all those 3 and outs, and expect your defense to play well late in the game. I was looking at FL's front 7 saying. "Those guys look exhausted." There is no excuse why a team should force that many TO and still get outcoached and blew out. I thought I would see an competitive game, if it wasn't for TOs it might have been a shutout.

I feel sorry for LSU they're about to get buried.
Mizzou really let me down, I thought they would be a lot better than they've showed so far.
Auburn struggled with an top 20 team, Mizzou struggled with an FCS team.
If Vany only scores 2 FG it'll be because of their horrible offense, not anything OM does on D. Vany couldn't score on Toledo, so I doubt they'll have much success against SEC team. I don't know how good they OM defense is, but Boise St shouldn't be a measuring stick.
