I really wouldn't be surprised to see Malzahn go with Franklin despite his current obvious shortcomings as a passer. He's smart enough to know that his offense is a fail without a q.b. that can run the ball. Franklin's legs will make their run game go. If he can hit on 8 or 10 passes a game to go along with the run game they could have a decent season. Of course they may need to bring in White on 3rd and long, particularly early in the year.
