Gtownhog

Retired from a 30 year career at Johnson & Johnson, I am a 1973 graduate of the University of Arkansas. We have had Razorback season foootball tickets since 1974, and go to 95% of the games in Fayetteville. WE support our HOGS win or lose!!

As a Razorback fan, I and my family experienced a very similar treatment when we played Georgia in the SEC Championship game several years ago. Gerogia fans getting in our faces and yelling obscenities before and after the game. And I don't mean just a few fans...I mean this happened a dozen times by different groups of Georgia fans. I will say that they were mostly REDNECKS that have probably never set foot on the UGA campus, but it was totally uncalled for and completely classless. We have been to games in Tuscaloosa, Knoxville, Starkville, Oxford, and several other SEC schools and not been treated badly. I have noticed over the last 20 years or so that some SEC fans have totally forgotten what the meaning of "Sportsmanship" is. I'll never go to Athens to a football game.
I think that LSU and MIZZOU are the likely two wins. We play LSU in Fayetteville, and we usually play them pretty tough. We lost in the last minute in Baton Rouge last year and Arkansas is a greatly improved team. 5-7 is what I had Arkansas projected for this year, but they have a legitimate chance to end 6-6. GO HOGS! #NeverYield
Penn Wagers should be FIRED immediately if not sooner....It's not just THIS year, he has been consitently bad for a number of years....
F ... U..... Gators is what I heard.... Really nice. Great sportsmanship.
Thanks, Nick!! Try not to hang 52 on us again this year....
Ruffin's was flagrant and he should have been ejected. Cunningham led with his helmet. DJ Smith's call was questionable. I am not a fan of any of these teams...
Ole Miss will lose by 2 TD's. MS State will lose by 3 in OT. LSU will choke at Auburn. FLA goes down to TN, and Muschamp is gone at the end of the year...
I don't think SCHawg said anything about our two SEC East opponents being "easy wins". If Arkansas continues to improve, they will give Georgia all they want in Little Rock. LSU is in November in Fayetteville, and hopefully we will handle UAB. It will be difficult, but don't count the HOGS out just yet...
$85 gets you a nosebleed seat in the corner of the end zone. $50 to PARK around the stadium. $30 to park at the Rangers stadium. Beer $9.50 each. Chicken Sandwich $10. Soft drinks $6. A family of four would spend about $500 to attend this game.
With Southwest Classic tickets starting at $85 and going as high as $400 the average fan is getting priced out of seeing the game in person. While 2/3 of AT&T Stadium was filled Saturday there were large swaths of empty seats in the upper deck and even on the second level. Why not start the nosebleeds in the $30-$40 range and go from there?
