Life long fan, ever since i was a Boy Scout and we ushered in Tiger Stadium. I agree with what some of you are saving, LSU'S AD should be ashamed of himself, so should the so called "Boosters" To me booster should be on our side, not always picking apart everything you do. Got a couple questions for y'all so called boosters: #1 If you don't like Les Miles so much, why did you hire him, why did you keep him, why did you pay him so well? #2 If you think the job is so easy, why don't y'all get off your Gold laced ass's and try to do it yourself? #3 Be very, very careful what you wishing for. Your taking a coach that followed in the footsteps of the Great and Powerful Saban. And he has kept LSU in the top of the field for 11 years. The players love this man, not just the man, "The Coach - The Mad-Hatter". The Fans for the most part love him, sure, right now they hate him, we all hate losing, but even in hate, they respect the job he has done overall. No One, and i mean no one wins them all, not even Mr. Saban. Finally, I'll say this. Think hard about what your about to do, long and hard. The fall-out from firing a man that is well liked, this loved, could be devastating. We, the true LSU fans, may never see the rise from the ashes. For if you burn down this house, the ashes will be great, they will be hot and they will take time to heal. My advice, leave the man alone and let him do his job. As a matter of fact, fire that weasel AD Joe Alleva, and promote Les Miles to AD/Head Coach. My god, 11 years. 103-28 record, 2 National Championship games, 1 win/1 lose. What more do you want? There are coaches out there that haven't accomplished half of this and are touted as the greatest coach that school ever had. Maybe, just maybe LSU is trying to fill shoes that are impossible to fill. Support your school, support your team and support your coach, win or lose.
Going on a limb, my predictions: SC 35 - Furman 3 (SC runs away with it) Arkansas 27 - Georgia 24 (last min field goal) A&M 45 - Alabama 34 (Bama's QB gets hurt, A&M takes advantage) Old Miss 49 - Tennesse 6 (Old Miss dominates) Mizzou 17 - Gators 14 OT (Very close, Mizzou Wins in OT) Kentucky 21 - LSU 20 (LSU miss's a PA, Which would have taken it into OT)
