Mizzou is actually [10-2, 7-1].... not 6-2... as much as the national and sec press wants to dump on Mizzou for its Indiana loss on the last drive it that team actually doesn't count for conference records. Instead lets focus on a 6 win streak including a 10 game road winning streak and back to back division champs. Mizzou has a good chance as playing as underdog and creating another upset!

Thanks! Really thank you for doing some research and putting out an article that promotes what all Mizzou fans already know. Certainly will be an eye opener for other fans in the conference.

I finally figured out SDS inherent bias towards Mizzou (specifically this season)... IF (yes I say if) Mizzou defeats the hogs... essientially that means Ole Miss and LSU are crap teams... that really hurts some of these writers egos. For the best of the west to be crap team that can't even beat the hogs who can't even beat the 'shouldn't have been invited' Mizzou tigers.. I solved it!

Also, 24-0... What kind of offense does this Allen's brother produce? Or a injured other Allen... you gotta have production to get to 24...

That's a pretty 'Georgia-centric' view. Seriously... this is NOT the UGA team of 2012... This 'amazing' Georgia team LOST in stunning fashion to Florida... AND South Carolina... two duds of the East. Mizzou on the other hand lost to Indiana without some major WR and Golden, also lost to UGA without a healthy Golden. Why is this not talked about? The Tigers who won the last 5 games is not the same team that fell on its face early this season... look it up and learn something, b/c ya'll are going to be talking about Mizzou all next week as it prepares for ATL.

I agree... its still in the cards, but everything has to work out. Assuming they are 11-2 and beat #1 Bama. Not an easy prediction. ha

Ok... so here we go. This is only speculation and serves as no declaration of FACT: Mizzou beats Arkansas... could go up to #12 in polls. Miss State loses to Ole Miss and other various top 10 teams lose. Mizzou beats 'Bama in ATL... an 11-2 tigers who beat #1 and become SEC Champions could end up ranked as #4 in the CFP... Its in the cards, though low odds. But SEC fans may have to root for this scenario if it happens.

Just an FYI... Mizzou usually runs as many yards as it passes. Its a balanced offensive approach. May the Tigers win in a nail-biter!

Thanks hogs for some decent analysis. I really want to know more about your backup QB? Also if Brandon Allen is hurt... that could affect his production. Mizzou has 'flashy' Mauk... but the true reason we are East "co" Champs and trying to be outright champs and go to ATL is because of our defense. They have kept us in every game recently and Ray and Golden will rip up any QB they face. I think this will be a close game like the line suggests, but as superstitious as I am I'm very happy Vegas picked Arkie to win.

Also... to the hog fans... What's the deal with your QB? Is he hurt? Is he out? What is his brother like? Have ya'll heard about Ray and Golden? They both kinda just smash every QB they face... hope your offense is ready... b/c Mizzou defense (although hasn't shut out a team) is pretty scary! Thoughts?

Its going to be a fun albeit stressful game! Maty has such moxie that is Mizzou's secrete weapon... the stakes of this game will not faze this QB. Now what about Arkie's QB? Isn't he hurt? Does his brother have similar production and skill? Ray and Golden are scary as hell, can he handle them? Dobbs collapsed under 6 sacks like a little kid... anyone predicting similar fate?

Is it just me or does Arkies defense get all the praise? By the number's Mizzou is doing pretty good defensively... ourkansas isn't known for its stellar offense either? I'll say this much, it should be a close game... it will come down to turnovers and production in offense. BUT THANK YOU FOR ALL PICKING the hogs, seriously its what Mizzou needs for motivation... thank you thank you thank you!

Mizzou is 9-0 on the road... 13-2 in SEC play the last two years. Luck is starting to be a poor explanation for Missouri's success.

Time to ruffle some tail feathers... but this can happen: If Auburn loses to Alabama and Ole Miss losses to Arkansas and/or Miss State then Mizzou could get up to 4th if Mizzou wins out in Atlanta. BOOM scenario where Mizzou makes the playoffs. (yes this is still a possibility)
