The offense was slow and lethargic all year, no matter who the opponent was. The strength of schedule is t why they're playing well, it's that Hurd is gone. The play calling didn't work with him but they kept forcing it. Him leaving was the best thing to happen to us all season.

Not really.. preseason top 10 for the first time since 2005. Spent one week ranked between 2009-2014 and that was Gameday against UF in 2012.. spent two weeks ranked last year. No idea who ever said it was the year..

I think my issue with Arkansas is that they always find a way to beat a team there not supposed to, but then they'll find a way to lose to a team they're supposed to beat. We lost to two playoff teams, 10+ win Florida, and y'all last year.. You guys lost to Texas Tech and Toledo and God knows who else.

Box score can be tricky. We had a short field all night.. and the run was clicking, so the pass wasn't necessary. They did have plays where the made him throw.. and he threw or ran away. Also, deep shot for a touchdown, perfectly thrown fade for a touchdown, and a play where he got away from a sack, and threw another touchdown. The yards I'm not worried about because, like I said, we had a short field all night. He still kept it somewhat accurate, but the TD's were all on point. They didn't want to force him to throw like they did week 1, they let him play his game, and it paid off. Even without the fumbles, VT only score on two more drives after the first quarter.. the rest were punts or fumbles. 66% of their rushing yards came on the first three drives of the game.. then they managed 63 yards for the rest of the game running, and 27 of those came in garbage time at the end of the game.

Yup, that and being undefeated currently.. Y'all know the feeling too, right.. Oh wait..

People are seemingly forgetting that football games are essentially looked at in a vacuum. This game doesn't determine Tennessee football. Remember when A&M crushed South Carolina and vaulted in the rankings, top 10 if I'm not mistaken. Well, South Carolina went on to be horrible.. Let more games play out. What if App doesn't lose another game and beats a P5 in bowl game? Still a horrible loss?

I mean, what engagements has this country been in that have threatened the NFL? Or freedom in this country in general. I'm an active duty soldier currently who has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and trust me, you'd have your freedoms and liberties if we went or not.. When we enlist, we swear to defend the Constitution, not a flag or an anthem. Let him exercise his rights, and stop it with the patriotic hard on, we're not heroes because we go to war. And no, we don't go to war so you don't have to, we go to war because we're told to.

Weren't a lot of games gift wrapped for you. Didn't you get pushed to the brink in two of your last four games by Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic? Didn't your last three games result in three horrendous losses in FSU, Alabama, and Michigan? No idea why you think Florida deserves to be anywhere else on this list.

Teams get better and worse as seasons progress. You best Tennessee early, doesn't mean you'd end up better then them. That's like saying Florida is a better team than Tennessee right now, which you probably don't agree with. Beating teams you're not supposed to will always be overshadowed by losing to teams you're not supposed to lose to. Texas Tech and Toledo say hi.

Unfortunately that fourth down touchdown against Tennessee became the deciding moment in the SEC East race. Had Tennessee not given it up they'd be the SEC East champs, but now they'll be the best team in the East but second place. They'd have given y'all a better run then Florida will.

Sweet, maybe we should recruit him to play in the secondary. Teach the rest of them how to tackle.
