The Florida Gators held their first Junior Day of the 2019 recruiting cycle on Saturday, and it resulted in at least one commitment for coach Dan Mullen — his first addition to the 2019 class.

According to Rivals.com, 3-star ILB Jammal Abrams committed to the Gators on Saturday afternoon.

The Gators’ 2019 class now has four players, but this is the first one that has been added since Mullen took over the reins of the program from Jim McElwain.

According to the 247Sports composite, Abrams is the No. 18 inside linebacker in the class of 2019 and the No. 21 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

Before Abrams’s commitment, Florida had the No. 8 recruiting class in the SEC and the No. 21 class nationally, per 247Sports.
