Florida beat LSU in thrilling fashion Friday in Nashville, knocking out top-seed LSU 76-73 on a three-pointer made by guard Andrew Nembhard with one second left on the game clock. For the second time in a little over five months, it was a player wearing No. 2 who made the game-winning play to lift the Gators over the Tigers.

The UF athletic department’s social media team shared a tweet Friday that included videos from the football team’s Oct. 6, 2018 win and Friday’s buzzer-beater played back-to-back with audio of the calls from “Voice of the Gators” Mick Hubert. On the gridiron, it was defensive back Brad Stewart’s pick-six which sealed the deal for Florida’s 27-19 victory.

In the 2016-17 sports season we saw similar social media trolling of LSU by Florida after UF won the 2016 football game moved from Gainesville to Baton Rouge and defeated the Tigers in the College World Series. LSU got revenge by winning the 2017 meeting on the gridiron in The Swamp.
