Former Florida linebacker Jelani Jenkins has signed with the Oakland Raiders.

Jenkins played in just nine games with the Miami Dolphins last season due to a knee injury; however, he was a regular starter for the Dolphins over the last three years. He recorded 227 tackless, three forced fumbles, 3.5 tackles for loss and five passes defended during his four-year career in Miami.

The Dolphins drafted Jenkins in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Jenkins was one of the country’s most premier high school football recruits in 2009.

Everyone remembers Jenkins’ 36-yard blocked punt for a touchdown to help lead Florida to a 27-20 win over UL-Lafayette in 2012.
