Whether you’re basing it off Rivals, 247Sports or several other recruiting services, the Gators only had one five-star commitment for the Class of 2016, and they secured it.

Antonneous Clayton, who pledged to Florida back in late October, signed his letter of intent on National Signing Day. Clayton is rated as the No. 2 weakside defensive end and the No. 26 overall prospect in the cycle.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder from Vienna, Ga., chose the Gators despite a late push from Auburn and Florida State. Clayton had received offers from 10 of the 14 SEC schools as well as several other top programs.

Clayton puts his elite edge-rushing ability, highlighted by an incredible first step, on display in this video package.
