What Jim McElwain said after Florida's massive collapse against Tennessee
That was an Ole Miss-level meltdown for Florida.
After the No. 19 Gators surged out to a 21-point lead in Knoxville, No. 14 Tennessee completely flipped the script to snap its 11-game losing streak in the series with an incredible 38-28 win Saturday afternoon. The Volunteers (4-0, 1-0 SEC) outgained Florida (3-1, 1-1 SEC) 396-102 during the second half, using a suddenly explosive offense and stifling defense to erase the deficit.
Here’s what Gators coach Jim McElwain had to say after his team squandered an opportunity to assert dominance in the SEC East.
