Former Gators WR Andre Caldwell will be looking for a new team again.

The Detroit Lions, who signed Caldwell to a one-year deal this offseason, cut the former UF wideout after previously placing him on injured reserve.

Caldwell, who played at Florida from 2003 to 2007, holds the school record for all-time career receptions with 185. The eight-year NFL veteran spent his first four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals (2008-2011) before joining the Denver Broncos for four seasons in 2012. He made one catch for 22 yards in Denver’s Super Bowl victory over the Carolina Panthers in February.
