Most of the players involved in the Florida credit-card fraud case have reached plea deals or other settlements in the case.

On Friday, Kadeem Telfort and Jordan Smith both pleaded no contest to a third-degree felony charge — significant downgrades to the charges they were originally facing.

According to Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times, both former Gators also received probation and a fine:

Both Telfort and Smith (pleaded) no contest to one third-degree felony charge of scheming to defraud, according to Alachua County court records. They each received two years of probation and must pay $521 in court costs.

Considering Telfort faced 30 felony charges and Smith faced nine, those are some great deals for the ex-Gators.

Both players left Florida in January. Neither played a snap in 2017, as they and the other seven players caught up in the scandal were suspended for the whole season.
