The Gators receiver depth has taken a hit this weekend as redshirt junior Alvin Bailey has decided to leave the team via transfer.

Bob Redman of Scout was the first to report the news.

Last season was Bailey’s first season in which he recorded any stats for the Gators, as he caught three passes for 49 yards and made one tackle on special teams.

Bailey is the second Gator receiver to leave the team this offseason, joining redshirt sophomore Ryan Sousa who announced his decision to transfer in May.

With star sophomore Antonio Callaway still under suspension, the Gators still have 10 active receivers on the roster. Former starting quarterback Treon Harris may be added to that group, however he was suspended along with Callaway and he too has yet to reinstated by the team.
