Matt Elam can’t seem to stay out of the headlines for the wrong reasons, as the former Florida safety has reportedly been arrested on multiple charges Monday morning.

According to TMZ Sports, Elam was booked in Delray Beach, Florida for grand theft and battery. This news comes on the heels of drug charges the 25-year-old Elam faced in February. In that incident, Elam had over 100 grams of marijuana and several pain pills.

Elam was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. In three NFL seasons, Elam registered 131 total tackles and one interception. He only played in nine games last season after appearing in all 32 for the Ravens the previous two seasons. The Ravens did not pick up his 2017 option and the ex-Gator is now a free agent.

Elam was an All-American and First Team All-SEC performer in 2012.
