LSU fans, players and even AD Joe Alleva have all accused Florida of being scared to play the Tigers for various reasons.

The Gators are pushing back against that narrative with a new hype video titled “Anyone. Any time. Anywhere.”

The clip features Jacksonville Jaguars DE Dante Fowler Jr., who played at Florida from 2012-14, talking about the UF-LSU series. Fowler’s freshman season was the last time the Gators topped the Tigers, 14-6 in Gainesville.

The game was originally scheduled for Oct. 8 in Gainesville, but postponed due to Hurricane Matthew. With the announcement coming on Thursday of the original game week with Florida dealing with injuries to multiple starters, it led many people to accuse the Gators of being “scared” and using the storm as an excuse not to play.

LSU lobbied the SEC to not have to end the season with three road games in 12 games, so a compromise was reached to have Saturday’s game played in Baton Rouge with the 2017 and ’18 meetings in Gainesville.
