WATCH: Florida football players show up at basketball game in full pads
Everybody wanted to see Florida’s basketball team take on No. 10 Michigan State – even those in cleats and pads.
A handful of Florida football players surprised the O’Dome crowd when they popped in and were shown on the jumbotron.
The walk from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to the football practice fields goes by Exactech Arena. Considering Dan Mullen and recruits were at the game earlier, these players were likely on their way to practice and decided to take a quick detour.
Unfortunately for the basketball team, even the extra support wasn’t enough. Michigan State won the game by a 63-59 final.
#Gators football players in full pads walked in and were shown on the jumbortron. It looked like Jachai Polite and CeCe Jefferson were among them.
They got the crowd riled up.
