2014 LSU vs Florida

In a hard-hitting affair that changed leads three times in the fourth quarter, LSU outlasted Florida in the Swamp, 30-27, after Colby Delahoussaye nailed a 50-yard field goal with three seconds on the clock.

Standout true freshman Leonard Fournette led the Tigers with 140 yards rushing on 27 carries, reaching the end zone twice in his best game to date.

LSU (4-2) took a 27-24 lead in the fourth quarter with 2:40 left after Anthony Jennings found Travin Dural in the corner of the edn zone for a tremendous catch on an 11-yard touchdown. The Tigers got in range after Jennings hooked up with Dural a few plays prior on 3rd-and-25 for a 41-yard gain.

The Gators (3-2) quickly answered, tying the game on an 18-yard field goal on the strength of Jeff Driskel’s 73-yard heave to Demarcus Robinson down inside LSU’s 5 with just over two minutes to play. On 3rd-and-goal before the kick, tight end Kevin Westbrook dropped a sure touchdown that would’ve likely won the game for Florida.

Delahoussaye’s heroics were set up by Rickey Jefferson’s 23-yard interception return to the Florida 36 with less than a minute remaining. Driskel, with no timeouts, tried to find a receiver over the middle and had his pass tipped into the air.
