Georgia sophomore Isaiah McKenzie will not face criminal charges after allegedly threatening to kill a woman at a local Chili’s on Monday night.

“The victim declined to prosecute so the case is closed as far as we are concerned,” Athens-Clarke County police spokesman Hilda Sorrow said on Wednesday, according to DawgNation.

Maya Labat accused McKenzie of saying “ he was going to call some friends and they were going to come out and he was going to kill her.” McKenzie’s teammates Dominick Sanders, Terry Godwin, D’Andre Walker and Jarvis Wilson were listed on the incidence report as witnesses to the incident.

No disciplinary action is expected for McKenzie.
