National Signing Day is on Feb. 4 and the SEC is primed to bring in another impressive haul of top recruits in the 2015 recruiting class.

In the next 25 days, Saturday Down South counts down the top 25 recruits either committed to the SEC or strongly considering SEC schools.

No. 14 Terry Godwin

Position: Athlete
247Sports ranking: No. 28 overall; No. 4 overall in Georgia
Committed: Georgia

The skinny: You name it, and Terry Godwin can play it. Listed as an athlete by recruiting services, Godwin can play multiple positions at the next level. Godwin plays quarterback in high school and returns kicks, but he translates better to either receiver or cornerback in college. Godwin has straight line speed, but he also has great vision and even better jukes to get him into space. Perhaps his biggest impact could come on special teams as as a freshman.

Freshman projection: Georgia needs elite pass catchers, and that’s where they are recruiting Godwin: as a receiver. With Isaiah McKenzie returning kicks and punts, it would be tough for Godwin to break into the lineup on special teams and become an impact player. His best opportunity may be at wide receiver, although he could easily switch over to defense and play cornerback and have a very successful career there as well.
