Mecole Hardman has used his speed to become one of Georgia’s top playmakers. And the junior wide receiver is getting national attention.

Earlier this week, ESPN college football analyst David Pollack appeared on The Russillo Show, a podcast hosted by Ryen Russillo, and praised Hardman, ranking him among the best in the country.

‘Mecole Hardman is one of the best players in college football,” Pollack said on the podcast. “If nobody’s watching him at Georgia, he’s No. 4. Every time he touches it, it’s like he owns the turbo button on whatever console you play. He literally plays at a different speed than everybody else.”

Hardman has 12 receptions for 187 yards and three touchdowns during Georgia’s 3-0 start this season. Last year, he had 25 receptions for 418 yards and four touchdowns.

In the Bulldogs’ only conference game so far this season, a 41-17 win over South Carolina on Sept. 8, Hardman had his best performance thus far. The junior had six receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown.

Hardman, who is listed at 5-foot-11, 183 pounds, is a native of Bowman, Ga.

This weekend, Hardman will look to continue to make big plays for Georgia when it hosts Missouri. The Bulldogs and Tigers are set to kick off at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
