Dominick Sanders has officially landed on an NFL roster, as the reigning SEC champion is getting his first shot at a pro career with the reigning Super Bowl champs.

The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Friday that Sanders has signed as an undrafted free agent.

Coming off a four-year playing career in Athens that saw him make 54 appearances during his career, Sanders was the program’s most dependable defensive back over the previous four seasons. He had at least 34 tackles in every season, totaling 156 for his college career and registered a whopping 16 interceptions.

Sanders also displayed plenty of versatility in his UGA career, making 11.5 tackles-for-loss and racking up 381 return yards following his 16 interceptions. Sanders is currently Georgia’s all-time leader in interception return yards.

Holding the respect of his peers, Sanders was also named as a team captian in three games last season. He started for three years in Athens and 53 games in his UGA career.
